EMPOWERED 3 front +back cover

Behold, the front and back cover of EMPOWERED vol. 3, the latest installment of my "sexy superhero comedy" published by Dark Horse Comics.

The book's due out March 12, but be warned that, given EMPOWERED's highly problematic grayscale reproduction (the book is shot from my pencils, as opposed to more easily managed inks), printing-related delays are not inconceivable; after all, the first two volumes ran into such problems, alas. I'm hoping for the best, however...

Sad to say, a story I'd planned to do that related to the Emp-and-Thugboy image depicted on the back cover ended up not appearing in the book, due to crushing deadline problems... Still, as both Emp's "Sexy Librarian" outfit and Thugboy's history as a Witless Minion are featured in stories that DID make it into the volume, I felt that I could use this image on the back cover nonetheless. In any event, that story will be kicked forward into EMPOWERED vol. 4, for whatever that's worth.

(I should note that they DO carry the trade paperback for IRON MAN: HYPERVELOCITY, however. Go figure.)
