XENOSAGA PSM swimsuit illo

Another one of the illos that Ryan Kinnaird and I did for the magazine PSM's now-defunct "videogame swimsuit illo" feature, a few years ago... Me on the line art, Ryan on the Photoshoppery.

This one features characters from the XENOSAGA game, in case you can't tell. A bit heavy on the "racktastic" angle, I'm afraid, so my apologies to the cleavage-averse out there. Oddly enough, I kinda LIKE the way that the star-laden sky rather competes with the equally colorful and showy buildings in the background; IIRC, I think I pushed Ryan to go "over the top" with the BG elements, and he WENT with it, baby.

I'm posting this for two reasons: one, to add another color piece to spice up my otherwise-monochromatic gallery; and two, to commemorate the tragic loss of PSM's swimsuit feature (well, a tragic loss to my bank account, at least). In fact, my upcoming endpage piece for the June (?) issue of PSM likewise memorializes that now-defunct practice... and shows the true horror of what a 2007 videogame-swimsuit feature might've actually look like.
