Here's an very old (circa 2001) and stylistically out-of-date (featuring a facial architecture I no longer prefer) commissioned sketch; despite its flaws, though, I thought this aged piece's concept was amusing enough to post.

This is one of a series of commissions (three, to be precise) I took on, with a rather imaginative hook: I was supposed to be drawing Vargas-esque pin-up art for various Imperial units from STAR WARS, featuring an assortment of hawt chicas from OTHER fictional worlds as the pin-up subjects in question.

Here, that's supposed to be robot-bodied Gabrielle from my late 'n' lamented 1997 DC "Elseworlds" one-shot, TITANS: SCISSORS, PAPER, STONE: [link] She was the far-future analogue for TEEN TITANS' Cyborg in that project, as a disaster victim whose brain was transplanted into a nanoassembled, superhuman "prosthetic body." (Hence her nickname, "Prosthetic Lass.") I believe the only other pics of this character in my gallery are [link] and [link] .

Needless to say, pin-up Gabrielle is cavorting with the ginormous helmet of a Death Star (turbolaser?) gunner. Next up: Miss TIE Fighter and Miss Death Star Detention Guard!
