This time around, our beleaguered heroine faces an entirely new form of annoyance: Namely, a wannabe criminal who previously tried to kidnap and ransom Emp (in EMPOWERED vol. 2) has now reinvented herself as the wannabe costumed crimefighter "Ocelotina"! Worse still, this faux "cape" has blatantly ripped off Emp's own dire reputation (as a "sexy, bondage-pronde superheroine") and leveraged it into a spectacularly crass moneymaking venture, to Emp's intense chagrin. Even worse yet, as we see here, Ocelotina's turned out to be a hit with Emp's fellow teammates...

Anyhoo, EMPOWERED vol. 3 is now available for sale on the shelves of your local comics retailer or bookstore... in theory, at least. If they don't carry the book, just ask said retailer to order it for you; I have to do this all the time with me local Barnes & Noble. Believe me, they'd be happy to take your money.

Speaking with all due crassness, I'd prolly recommend ordering this particular volume from Dark Horse, as I conceivably make a li'l mo' money off the higher cover price offered there. (Well, maybe.)
