EMPOWERED's Thugboy

A "title page" from EMPOWERED, vol. 1, which consists of many, many short stories needing to be separated by chapter breaks. On other occasions, I try to add some minor story value by doing a bit of "metatexual" storytelling DURING the chapter breaks...

Note that the logo and title are "for position only," and will be replaced with typesetting in the published book.

Anyhoo, here we're seeing an introductory image of "Thugboy," a hired goon (and former Witless Minion!) who meets superheroine Empowered "on the job,*" and winds up getting into her (extremely tattered) pants on a regular basis.

*More specifically, they Meet Cute when he, uh, ties her to a chair, which is perhaps not the most ideally progressive first encounter one would hope for, but WTF...
