EMPOWERED 5 gecko action

Behold, a big ol' double-page spread from the first story (titled "Reducing the Uppity", by the way) in upcoming vol. 5 of EMPOWERED, the latest installment of my "sexy superhero comedy" published by Dark Horse Comics... and now on sale, I'm happy to say! Here, our (super)heroine Empowered is flaunting her new "racktastic gecko" clinging power* whilst training with her normal-human best friend Ninjette. Needless to say, poor Emp is about to find out the hard way that said recently discovered clinging power has its limitations... (Hint: "SHRIPP!")

(Comics retailers, including online sites like TFAW, often get EMPOWERED volumes well before the bookstores do.)

Note that both sites have links for ordering previous EMPOWERED volumes, as well; or, you can quite possibly find these volumes on the shelves of of your friendly neighborhood comics retailer or bookstore, though not at MY local Barnes & Noble, annoyingly enough... *That's "GECKO" clinging power, okay? As opposed to, say, a "SPIDER" clinging power, which is COMPLETELY different (except that both use the van der Waals force, of course)...
