Whoops, with all the other crap going on of late, I forgot to post this: the initial colored version of the cover for EMPOWERED vol. 3, my "sexy superhero comedy" published by Dark Horse Comics!

A fine job on the colors, here, by Lee Duhig of the badass coloring studio Guru eFX... He was also the colorist on my recent, 40+ character EXALTED cover, you might recall.

We'll be making s'more tweaks on the piece for the actual, published cover, such as punching up the outline around Empp considerably and, alas, very likely removing the three masked ninjas at the top of the page. (The logo obscures 'em quite a bit, so they're prolly better off not being on the final iteration at all.)

Now, EMPOWERED vol. 3 doesn't ship until March 2008... but I should hasten to add that EMPOWERED vol. 2 ships next week (Sept. 19th, '07)!
