Behold, the illo that will be appearing on the back cover of the second volume of EMPOWERED (due out Sept. '07), my "sexy superhero comedy" comic published through Dark Horse.
Yep, in the course of the volume, Empowered's bestest friend Ninjette gets plastered and devises a wacky scheme to help Emp out. Alas, her good-hearted but inebriated intentions lead to disaster... and in the course of said scheme, Ninjette wears Emp's extremely tattered "supersuit," as seen here. Have to say, this piece really didn't seem all that "fleshy" to me as a B&W rough or as an inked image... Once my buddy Ryan Kinnaird colored it in with with his patented Photoshop flesh tones, however, I found that Ninjette looked rather more nekkid than I thought! Well, whatevs; anyone who's so easily offended as to be driven off screaming by this image almost certainly couldn't handle the actual comic itself.
