EMPOWERED 2's Emp in school

Another chapter-break/ title-page illustration from the upcoming second volume of EMPOWERED (due out Sept. 07!), my "sexy superhero comedy" book published by Dark Horse Comics. As noted elsewhere, the Sharpie-scrawled text at the top of the page will be replaced by the EMPOWERED logo and type in the printed version.

This illo's not especially sexy or comedic, but WTF... It's from a story that features a brief flashback to Emp's childhood, showing that her youthful expectations re: adulthood turned out to be a tad off the mark.

Side note: I also begin hinting at Emp's real name in this one, for whatever THAT'S worth.
