Another chapter-break/ title-page illustration from the upcoming second volume of EMPOWERED, my "sexy superhero comedy" book published by Dark Horse. (Side note: in the printed version, a typeset font will replace my scrawled handwriting at the top of the page.)
The surprising part about this piece is that Catgirl Emp's pose is (at least technically) NOT gratuitously titillative, given the actual topic of the story... Heh, heh. Furthermore, let's just say that, in this story, the famous "Schrodinger's cat" thought experiment* is referenced in a context that readers will NOT have seen before, to the best of my knowledge. In the interests of branching out to different arenas of exploitation, might I mention that the EMPOWERED title page that I'm currently working on features a nekkid Thugboy and a strategically placed sock monkey (and a Barrett M82A1 .50 rifle, for extra credit)? Ooh, ah. *IIRC, you're supposed to write that name as "Schroedinger's", when you have no font access to the proper umlaut usage... |
