My old buddy :iconjoewight:, who collaborated with me lo these many years ago on the Star Wars manga covers, recently launched a Kickstarter to fund the printing of a sweet-looking new artbook, Arclight: The Art of Joe Wight.

Here's a link to Joe's Kickstarter:…

Take a look at the page and consider funding his artbook, won't you? I plan to do so, myself. In the meantime, some random images of Joe's badass art below:

Greetings Mr. Adam Warren  I just wanted to say thank you for the awesome work you have done in your Empowered series.  I have been collecting it ever since I discovered it at an anime con I was at a couple of years back.

I had not even thought to look to see if you where on Devianart until I came across a piece by :icondarkereve: who had done a tribute piece to your work on The Dirt Pair, another awesome series that I really need to find and read.   I look forward to future Empowered high jinks and wanted to say  Thank you for creating an Awesome Comic series.I salute you!
Big fan of Empowered and have all the volumes and one shots. The latest "internal Medicine", however, is a disappointment. The color art by Brandon Graham is horrible. It looks like something an elementary school art student might churn out. The black and white was as good as always, but the color was a real let down.

I love Empowered.  To me, I see a great, emotional story about the life of a real hero, truly uncensored.  You took Emp from a fetish pin up, ant turned her into something real, and honest.  In an interview, you said that Emp, in real life, would be a whiney person, too insecure, and in constant need for attention.  I don't agree.  Because I think that if Emp could have gotten the outfit she wanted, instead of the fedx envelope from the sky, she would be the best hero in you're world.  But the suit renders her all but nude.  Exposed to all.  At the end of the day, nobody really wants that, except the people who are paid for it.

Poor Emp cant seam to catch a break.  And I can already see how her whole world is going to crash down upon her.  But, I hope that dose not happen, even if, it is going to.

I'm not going to lie, either.  I have cried over a few things in Empowered.  That, really, dose not happen, at all.  But, this is 1800madness, and all he dose is fetish work.  And unfinished projects.  "Yea Me!"

I got a lot of attention for the Battle Chasers pencil layout since your tweet. I've put up scans for my Gen 13 Magical Drama Queen Roxy layouts today.

I was on my way to Seattle for Emerald City already and just saw they announced Kenichi Sonoda will be there, too. Hope he will be doing some drawing there.
Nice gal pal. Been following you for awhile and I have to say your pencil work is the best I've ever seen.
Heya Adam. Just discovered Empowered. Absolutely fell in love with it. I'll be looking forward to reading more. :-)
Hey. question. Does the fact that we haven't been told Thug Boy's real name symbolize the fact that, unlike Ninjette he's still hiding parts of his past from Emp? Or is it just a coincidence and you haven't gotten to a point where you feel like revealing it?
